any1 know a price of a 172 ph2 windscreen?

so ur after 1 that can have the auto light function attatched to it, if this is the case then for the 182 i paid £514 from autoglass. probably be able to get it cheaper tho.

im on traders policy so im not covered for windscreen cover plus the screen in my car isnt broke. im pretty sure it should have the functions iv got an 02 plate 172 ith climate control and all the goodies. the tax disk holder is from autoglass which makes me think its had a new screen and they've gone for the cheaper option maybe ???

The car has the function, not the windscreen. Is there a small balck box sensor behind your rear view mirror?

Did you buy a 172 or a 172 Cup?

The sensor could be broken or the auto lights might simply be switched off.

just been out turned ignition on flicked lights on and off til it beeped but the lights didnt stay on

Did you start the engine after you had turned the auto feature on?

The black box behind the mirror is for both the wipers and the lights. If when the screen was replaced he didn't replaced the gel pack then the wipers wont work but the lights still should.

there is no black box behind the mirror, my lights do beep though when turned on and off 3 times, can this black box be replaced?

Imports didn't come with the auto wipers or lights IIRC, so that may explain if it is.

Ah I could well be wrong, was thinking of a particular thread but now reading it again someone said them having no sensor wouldn't be anything to do with it being an import.

new screen being fitted on wednesday, found 1 breaking just got to home the screen comes out ok

what difference is there between the 172 windscreen to a normal clio, as ive only got third party insurance. would a standard windscreen fit n work????
