Anyone bought sports cat?

I am wondering if it's worth getting one, they are over twice the price as a de-cat but at least i won't have the hassle and expense of swapping it over and back for every MOT (and can feel at one with the trees).

The thing is though, i want some kind of improvement in noise for it to be worth getting, so was wondering if anyone had experience or one?

Who makes the k-tec one, and are they supplied cheaper elsewhere?

I believe the K-tec one is made by Janspeed mate

I brought my Janspeed sports cat from Demon Tweeks cheaper and it's pretty good quallity.....fits nicely and hasn't thrown on the emissions light on the dash at all.

I know Fred will come on saying people who buy sports cats are girls or bent but for me it has made a difference and I'm not going to have problems with roadside emission checks and hassle changing the pipe every MOT

We all know Fred is hardcore, so its cool, but i unlike him i don't have the ability to swap things in 30 seconds like he does. My ears would also have to tolerate the boom on the M25 and my girlfriend's moaning about the noisy car...

So is the noise any diff Neil?

on a cold day i'd be close to 190's and with 182manifold...good luck!

I didn't notice a huge increase in noise mate...my stealth is boomy at a certain RPM anyway but is fine cruising at 70-80 with the sports cat fitted.
