Anyone ever updated a Blackberry?

And what f**king r****d decided that everything will be backed up....

except for BBM Contacts. And when you try retrieving them via email, it just says "Checking Email status" and gets nowhere.

Anyone experienced this?

No I've not...as I'm not a r****d and back up to email and memory card.

I tried a year ago and failed badly gave up.

Only update using wireless update now.

I'm running 4.6 03 or something.

Should update it, i'm on 5.2.***** or something now and it seems alot more realiable.

Did mine worked fine, got my bbm contacts back from the email.

Yeah the email think wouldn't work for me.

And yeah gally it failed about 3 times before it actually worked!
