Anyone ever used the 60mm Apex FULL suspension kit?

I've seen it advertised on motorsportworld, reasonable price, and thought it sounded good.

Anybody had actual experience with it? I'm looking to fit it to my 2000 172. (the shocks and springs)

Thanks.

Had the 40mm kit, be warned the ride is very harsh. Other than that no complaint, reasonable handling performance increase.

i have it on mine, it seems like a good kit, You feel a lot more but gives you tonnes more grip and confidence in corners

  Mustang, S13, AX GT
The kit will drop the car nicely but if its anything like the fixed suspension kit I had on my old car it'll be super-stiff, as in why not just weld the springs together and save the effort stiff... Personally I would rather splash the extra £200 for a set of coilies.

If this is for your track project dan, id spend out on good suspension.

Make a massive difference to your speed.

Dan, do you think i would be better off just whacking a set of springs on there (need to sort something uber quick for the last day at combe before it shuts!) and then save for coilies for next season?? I can't take it out as it is, its seriously got about a 7 inch gap between the arch and the wheel, it feels like its going to fall over round the bends!!

Seeing it when it was parked @ yours i agree, its very high, i would save for coils for next season and put some springs on for now

i had irt on my 1.2, it was the cliosport kit of choice at the time.. it was awesome.. i still rate it better than the coilovers on the 172

i got 60mm pi suspention kit, obviously its a bit harder on the bumps, but it
comes into its own on the bends at speed, sticks to the road, feels excellant.

Thanks. Thats all i wanted, just to make sure it wasn't stupid low.

Its all very well me buying Coilovers for the track car, probably will be considerably better than new shocks and springs, but i don't know anybody who can fit them, don't know anybody who can set them up and don't know anybody whos got them!!

Looks like it will be shocks and springs after all.
