Anyone fitted non cup collies to a cup???

As it says really, has anyone modified 182 non cup(54mm) coilovers to fit a cup(60mm). If so what did you do?

Also what are the differences between the hub widths for 54mm/58mm and 60mm bolt spaced hubs?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Cup hubs are slightly thicker, therefore the strut mounting plates may need opening up a little (1mm or 2mm max I would have thought).

Then the bolt holes need elongating as you've said, 6mm is the difference.

I thought so. Could slot the holes by 3mm each, that should work. What is the distance between the brackets on the 58mm struts, i know they use smaller bolts M12, so by dirlling them to M14 they should fit the cup hubs as long as the width is the same
