anyone for a smd dash ?

got a mate to do my dash and modernise it slightly by changing the leds in my dials , im very please by the way they came out ...comments welcome

open up the dashboard , remove clocks , split them , then go about removing the very small led bulbs and replacing them ... with brighter better versions... ive also a spare set forsale in parts section

i normally charge about £100 as it takes quite a while!

although that includes speedo, door switches, center console yadda yadda

can confirm the hours involved and that was just to do the clocks , havent got round to the door switches yet tho ive plenty of leds left over

the dimmer works as it should so thats it just at its brightest for the pic

you,l need a pair of tweezers and possibly a magni light frame jobby a soldering iron with fine tip and a torque screwdriver to dismantle the dash oh and alot of patience

its actually not that bright but for some reason shows quite bright in the pics , the mileage smds are just white but the lcd is obviously blue

never looked at one buddy so not a clue although i doubt it as there lcd i believe?

i cant comment on the ph2 buddy just the ph1 and it was pretty straight forward but time consuming , just be carefull as clips are easy broken

I've never touched that wheel! I didn't know it was a dimmer! I'm going to have so much excitement on the drive to work tomorrow
