Anyone getting a 182

im not really into the whole idea of it, cant see he point if you already have a mk2? Although the idea of more power for same price must be tempting...

This does mean that 172s (if you can find new ones) will become a bargain.

(but my money is on 182)

and agree with you paddymph. Ive got a mk1 which is over 3 years old now, hence my reason for an upgrade.

Mines 2 years onld now...finance is up so I either refinance or buy a new car!! And since there is nothing else I really fancy I could change it wouldnt cost me anything!!

Its a very nice car for the money - if I was due to change mine Id get one. And not really for the power - its just that it might be the last opportunity to get a Renaultsport Clio for a while - I doubt therell be one (from day 1) in the new range when it comes out.

Yes you are correct its normally the renault way to introduce a performance model, just after launch.

I may get one for my Girlfiend later next year, I miss the handling of the 172 on B roads, hopefully it will be screwed together better, but I doubt it.

yes Ill be picking one up in march with the cup spoilers and suspension and stuff. I know someone who works at renault, so Im quite lucky to be getting a good discount on one.

its good timing as my job has just moved 40 miles away so I need something reliable. fingers crossed it will be!!

has anyone found any decent pictures of them yet..

if youve already got a mark 2 172 then its not worth it because you only get 10 more bhp(a 172 could easily be brought up to match it),different wheels and the twin exhaust.there almost identical
