Sometimes it is, but you could have just said, "Going out still presents a risk, as you could break down or have an accident. If you need help, that's putting the people that help you at risk, and taking resources away from helping people who really need it. It's better to follow the rules and stay at home."
It would have had exactly the same effect and doesn't require words like "spastic". I know people are stressed and suffering from a bit of cabin fever, but maybe going for a walk would be a better approach than being rude to people on a car forum for no reason. Like I said on the main coronavirus thread, some people really need to take a step back before they have a nervous breakdown.
