Anyone got a 100k+ mk1 172????

I'm seriously thinking of getting a mk1 172 after the problems i am having with my valver. It seems the next logical step up...

My budget is only gonna allow for one with 80k+ miles on it so my question is;
has anyone got one with this sort of mileage and do they suffer from any problems once they've gone this far???

I think the engine will be fine as long as the services have been done when they should of been.

At that sort of mileage i would probably want a car which has fairly new brakes and suspension (incl. bushes) because they defo would be on their way out. Make sure the air con is still working too.
