Anyone had experience of repossessed vehicles?

  Not a Clio anymore.....
As I'm in the market for a new car I have been scouring the web classifieds looking for a bargain.

I've come across a trade company who specialise in selling on repossessed cars which retail at a decent price.

Has anyone had any experience of buying a repossessed vehicle?
Any info/opinions?

Ta :)

Guessing they won't have been looked after, cos if it's be reposesed the owner won't have been able to maintain it properly?

Could be failure to make payments also. A while back I looked in to this and there are some bargins to be had, just can't for the life of me rememeber where I was looking

I bought my MK1 106 Rallye from a guy that dealt in repossessed cars and got it quite cheap at the time. The car was ok and had some history. Never had any problems. The t**t did paint the stock white steelies gold though! I just chucked some white speedlines on.

most cars are sent to auction... usually very good cars to buy as theyre not on sale due to a fault that people are trying to cover up, theyre taken away when people werent making the finance repayments... just as safe if not a safer bet than buying privately...
