anyone have a sony vaio laptop

My cooling fan only ever comes on very rarely for a second then switches off.

Is this the same with everyone?

I have a widescreen one 6 months old FS115B

Don't have a sony but have used other laptops that do a similar thing. The fan is on a temperature sensor so only comes on when its hot, if its boarderline temp it comes on then goes off once its cooled a bit. If its not getting stupidly hot and works ok I wouldnt worry about it.

I've got one and my fan seems to be on all the time, but I do leave it turned on for long periods. Saying that it keeps turning on and off at the moment.
