Anyone have an unlocked Iphone yet?

Im just weighing up my options here! The O2 tariff is ass-rapeage! Has anyone got an unlocked one who can confirm that the email and web surfing all work without a hitch when connected wirelessly, rather than through EDGE? If they do, I know which way my money will be going
