anyone have issues fitting an headunit?

my car wont start now ive replaced the headunit...nothing works other than the instrument dials and the cd player!

anyone else come across this,

what did you do to sort it?

What make is the headunit?? I got a Sony and have no problems! I know a few on here also have an Alpine and they have no issues.
My friend bought an LG and the speedo wouldnt work, yet he bought a Sony and all was corrected..

check the fuses not sure which ones but that happend to me and i just tested fuses which i though could have blown

When i fitted a LG to my clio the power steering and speedo stopped working, went to halford bought an adaptor it all worked fine.

I fitted an Alpine ida-x300 into my clio and it wouldnt start after that. apparently they pull a lot of juice and a jump start did the trick!

still cant drive it tho
