Anyone have pics of the back of Xenon headlamp driverside

I am swapping the headlamp over but the new unit had a black ring holding the bulb in place, the old one a metal spring. The ring is marked top but I want to see which way the power unit clips on.

It will only connect with the bulb one way IIRC. The 'TOP' will be off to one side, until its rotated to clip into place.

As one is a metal spring and the other is the black plastic, you'll have odd headlights. The spring type is from a 182, the black plastic a 172.

Which also means the plastic insert on the face of the headlight will be different colour.

It is a black inner though, not grey like the 182 so you can't tell when it is on. Thanks, that helps a bit. what would help more is which way up is the writing on the power block?
