Anyone know how upgrading via CPWH works?

I've been told they just act as a middle man for O2, simply another place to get your phone from... pay your monies and get your phone.

What i don't understand is, what's in it for them?

The contract isn't with them etc, still with O2 as it has always.

CPW/P4U/Any other reseller gets paid to do upgrades by the operator.

Thats how they make thier money.

lol, yes it was

As Tom said, they get paid a commission to upgrade.

It was the same for me, when I worked for an Indi a few years ago, although the money was poor compared to a new connection.
