Anyone know this flame red 172 ph2 -EX51MFF

I've seen a phase 2 172 in flame red on offer for just under £1000 local to me at a trader. It's done 133k miles with a recent belt & dephaser change. Looks in good condition on the outside. Hoping to test drive on saturday. Just wondering if anyone on here had either owned it at some point or knows a previous owner. If so any info would be greatly appreciated.

I saw that one ebay as it was v. local to me and was gonna go have a nose at weekend out of idle curiosity if weather was good!

Just run a VHC on it, it's had 4 previous owners with the most recent being October this year. Makes me a bit suspicious as to why it's up for sale so soon after buying it. Probably a legitimate reason I'm sure but does ring alarm bells. I did a check on the Renault UK database at my work and it appears to have been several years since it was last in a Renault dealership. At that mileage I fear possibly clutch or gearbox on their way out. I may pop along Saturday weather pending as you say.I'm only a few junctions away on the M3 so may have a look after work sat pm.

It's a sub £1k 172. It's worth £350 broken or will make £1k in bits.. Impossible to lose really.
