For that money you could pickup a mint example, with mods, strip the interior and sell it for bucks, sell the mods if not suitable and make it a track weapon...
That looks like its been hammered and abused on many many track days.
Christ I'd sell mine for 3.5-4k and thats got a new engine, brand new cup setup, cam belt, clutch, fluids and its lowered and strutted with tidy interior.

does seem a bit steep for a track toy, get a cat d car if you have no intention of putting it on the road, sell the interior etc or let the scrap yard have anything usefull out of it and reduce the cost to you.

full omp roll cage is only £400 bucket seat and harnesses £100. brakes can be found for 4-500 if you wanted 4 pots

i would be looking to road rally one so would need to be road legal, i did buy a cat d which later turned out to be cat c gutted not impressed by the tw*t that lied to me, but would rather sell that and buy one done unless there was gona be a big saving, bigest problem this car has is the distance, im from mid wales and the car is in glasgow
