anyone see my fastcar letter last month about it losing the oil and slim jules f**king ripped in to me! i was being serious.

does ur handbook say what is an acceptable level of oil consumption? or have renault omitted the ammo to shoot them?

anything up to 1 litre per approx 700 miles is within renault standards.

yeah well i think it might be cos its a 16v engine. i have done about 16400k now and used about 7 litres

Try getting a valver!!

Think they should have oil stations as well as petrol stations cause it seems to me that I put as much oil in as I do petrol!!

Before any one says it, no its not leaking and no its not burning!

Lukcy I got the oil level in the car or else it would have blown up ages ago!!

I reckon your about right with what your using, it seems like your doing a fair few miles as well, I only do about 7k a year.
