As per title - just managed to grab a set with 4mm+ tread left for free.
They are only for Autotests but wondering how bad the wear is, whether it's worth giving them a crack on track (lol?) or whether they'll melt in three laps.
arent these designed for hill climbs or sprints? I reckon they'd over heat with prolonged use but then i've only used 2Gs. Then again they were free so try them
Use them on the Westfield for hillclimbs and sprints, they're great. They'll go off after a few laps of dry track, but have found them ok on a damp track.
I'd guess that dry track in a heavy Clio would have them gone after a couple of laps. Save them for a damp day or if you do any sprints .
