Anyone with a PC Polisher Near Dundee

Looking for someone to give my car a good going over, as i cant afford the polisher and all the stuff im prepaired to pay someone to do the job for me and get all the swirl marks out of my car. Every Car Valet place I go to says "oh you have to compound that" which is £400!. they say tats the only way to get swirl marks out, clearly not but i cant ake them do something they dont know.

So is anyone out there with one?. Im Located Near Arbroath and am willing to travel.

By compound they mean a cutting compound (aggressive polish) so they are right, however £400 seems somewhat steep, £100 would be more realistic

Am afraid Im too far away!

So a cutting compound would be just as good as having it pc polished?

Same thing mate, its just using a series of coarse or medium and then fine abrasive to cut away an ultra thin layer of clearcoat and leave you with a swirl free finish.

The pc is just safer in the hands of the home enthusiast than a rotary polisher that a bodyshop would use.

NB I personally would trust very few bodyshops to use a rotary polisher correctly though as they can burn the paint if not used expertly.
