Arch liner nightmare for daily

Hi All,

First time poster and first time Clio Owner.

So ive started a new project which is my daily 1.5DCi. Got it for an absolute song due to an oil leak on the oil filter housing which cost me £2.50 to fix :) The previous owner was actually going to scrap it which seeing it after a clean would have been a huge shame. My Missus is going to be using it to learn in and im using it as a work car (70mpg+ cant be argued with) rather than stick 70 miles a day on my car.

Its a 54 plate 3 door Dynamique in Gris Boreal and in extremly good condition after it had a good gutting and proper clean. My plan is to turn it into a sport replica so its a bit of a looker, plus it gives me a new project to work on.

Ive done some basics so far but mainly the bread and butter like a service, brakes and good valet. I've switched out the interior for LED's and carbon wrapped the dash panels. Next was a sport grille which was all faded so i glass back sprayed it before fitting. Another job was switching out the cig lighter for an Aux/USB socket. The headlights were all faded so I got those all cleaned up and looking nice and shiny.

I've got a 172 front bumper all stripped and ready for painting and wings and skirts waiting for me to collect. I need a rear bumper which im not in a huge rush for then im going to look into the interior. My problem is finding front arch liners for the sport... they're either stupidly over priced, miles away an not willing to post or in horrendous condition ?... does anyone know where to find some reasonably priced half decent condition ones? I dont want to do this half arsed as I always do what needs to be done on my projects so i need the liners any everything is on hold till I find some.

Im going to upload a few photos soon and hopefully give this car a new lease of life instead of the scrap yard where it nearly ended up.

Welcome to the club. The arch liners are a bugger for taking flight if not secured properly when refitting the front bumper, and theres not a 1*2 owner out there who's not had the bumper off at some point! Hence the high price and rarety of them. There are a few specialist breakers on the facebook group who may be able to help you out.

If you want to cry - look into the pricing of replacement Clio V6 arch-liners and under-tray sections!
