Its a 14mm socket but it needs to be a thin one to fit down the holes... make sure you get one as a regular one will get stuck

Tim, turn the ignition off, remove the plastic engine cover, slowly pull/work the coils and leads out, and you can see the top of the plugs. Don't over tighten them too much, and don't crossthread them start them first.

10 min job, think i payed £10 for a set of NGK's or there about

If you can take an inlet manifold off and fit a set of plugs in 10 mins and replace the manifold and surrounding ancileries you are a top man

You want a job ?? :D

Matt you don't mean that for a 1.2 surely?

i take it the coils and wires are explsed when i take the plastic cover off ?

do you mean hand turn the plugs in first then tighten with tool?

thanks very much Tom RT, hopefully this will go to plan and save me money rather than costing me....

Yeah lower then in with a magnet/pin nosed pliers. Then put the socket on with the extension and go as far as you can with that. You can't go wrong as the tubes are that small it holds the socket dead straight anyway.

Yes, the coils & leads will be exposed when you remove the engine cover.

you dont have to take the maifold off to replace the plugs?

14mm socket to undo the plugs then used a thin snap-on torch which has a magnet on the end to pull them out lol
