Anything I should know about washer bottles?

My washer bottle has a leak - bit of a common thing from what I've read. Are they all the same on the Mk2 Clios? I've seen Xenon pump mentioned - WTF is that?

It looks like wipers have to come off for installation, this correct?

Yeah, wipers need to come off so you can get the scuttle panel off. Not sure on the 1*2s but when I replaced mine (172 Cup) it was a fairly simple job. Believe it's abit more difficult on the 1*2s.

my guess is that the xenon pump will be for the headlamp washers

so do you think they're all the same or should i go for the xenon pump for the headlight washers? (can't say i've noticed them working)

Is yours a Cup? The cup/non headlight washer tank is smaller and doesn't have the second outlet for the headlight washer pump.
