Looks good! sitting just right. Noticed any change in ride comfort? thinking about gettin these for mine.

Ive only drove it about 4mile back home but to be honest its about the same as my standard springs wur atm, dnt seem to harsh at all but i did usto have a 3 series wich wur on coilovers so im usto a harsh ride lol.

im considering doing this, how harsh are we talking here ?

imo they aint bad at all ide say coilovers are alot worse and as im usto them i dont think its that bad theres a 50/50 split with apex springs on here ive found some like and some dont, im on the like side as ther a good drop and not that bad ride just a lil harder.

its an option then, i really love the height of them just the reviews on here really put me off, cant afford coilovers yet either :(

might have to try a set

yeh its worth a go i got them for about £90 of ebay, worth a shot imo :>

yeh the drop on sportlines aint worth evn doin it imo the drop on apex is literaly bang on!! Hodgins91 ide try apex the ride is ok !!!

yeah them apex springs have droped that nicely from standed and when thay settle it will look better. if the ride was o.k with apex fitted id defo go for them...what tyres are on ther 195/40/16 .

205/45/16 mate :)

sportlines are alot better springs and get a better ride than the apex, but still for ££90 the apex have still made a nice drop so far and still to settle.

have to be better than p.i springs, i had a set on my punto hgt and oh my god after about a month or two the ride was soooo nasty.

mine is on APEX and the ride is brutal imo, dont know wether the aftermarket shocks will make a difference with that though.

hit a bit of a rut and its goobye spine and teeth. Its only saving grace is that it sits nice...

haha did u find it wur bad from the start?? oh duz it get worse?? ive had mine on for a day n not finding it too bad :>

yeah will get worse mate. can say how worse but if ther any think like p.i springs then..(F**CKING HELL MAN)..:dapprove:..lol

ive had apex on both mine. the ride is pretty gash yes. its looks well better tho. as long as i dont belt it down b roads (at least ones that i dont know where the potholes are!) then these are fine for normal roads.
eibach I've never had but the rides sposed to be better, but then it looks hardly any different to std IMO in all the pics! So you might as well leave it as is unless you go for the next better thing which are Vmaxx coilies, etc.

Prolines look more or less standard, 15mm drop on a FF, 5mm on a cup/cup packs.
Sportlines are a 35mm drop though.... That's only 5mm less than these Apex's!

true, but atm im rather sick of coils i had a 3 series on coils b4 my 182 n i cuddent even ride over a match stick with out scraping the underneeth of my car lol so im having a few month rest from coilovers lol :boring: .... but im sure sooner or later they will end up on my clio lol

A few more pics of me car with 40mm springs on as they have been on nearly a week now. ( pics low quality = from phone camera )
