apex or eibach

  inferno rs 182
you've probably guessed by now the credit cards about to take a pounding lol;)

the 182s gettin lowered but on what i'm not yet sure.

i know the apex will lower the car a lot more (especially visually) than the eibachs.
i do want the car to look lower but i dnt want to have a detremental effect on the handling.

so my question is do the apex handle worse than the eibach?

harsher from what everyone says, eibach sportlines are a good compromise of handling and looks.

u mean the apex are more harsher as in you feel every bump? or bounce about like a 8yr old on a sunny delight induced bouncy castle

I've got a full apex kit (springs/dampers) on and it is rather firm to say the least. But it does look awesome and the handling is a definite improvement over standard.
Would probably go for coils next time tbh, would like the drop and handling combined with a smooth ride aswell.

Apex are poo ! dont do it! eibach are far better imo there is no improvment using apex you will have them a few weeks and change to eibach i did! ask fubar and many others who have had these crap springs , i binned mine i couldnt sale them on because when someone asks me how good are these springs? i would answered with an honest answer and said s**t !

I went 1 year with eibach pros couldnt fault them ,
however i needed something more ie H&R coilovers if you have the spare cash get them .

This is all imo .

Thanks mark .

would love coilovers but sub 7ton for a set for a 182 are hard to find lol.
thanks for all the comments, looks like it'll be sportlines

ive got apex on my 182 at the mo.....switching to eibach soon, i feel everything on the road! it gets annoying to say the least.

  BMW M3
Ive got eibachs and im very happy with ride/handling etc..... and im usually very anal when it comes to my car lol

  M2 Competition
Eibach sportline for ride and handling, unless your roads are racetrack smooth, in which case apex. But it wont look much lower on eibachs mate.

I reckon around 25mm front, and 10 mm rear.

At least it makes the car look level though, lol.

ant

  yep.
big girls the lot of you.

had my apex on for about 15 months now - cant fault them.

I wan't Apex, been told by many parts shops now, that the company that imports Apex suspension has gone into administration, so there are no Apex suspension products for a while inless anybody has stockholdings :(

dont understand why theres so much emphasis on slamming your car = great handling
look at the scoobies, must be over 2" gap in the arches and they handle amazing
I know 2 owners who had Apex who's standard shockers were absolutely desimated after 3-4 months on the linear Apex

  Tangoed Works
There have been loads of reports on here about apex springs sagging and also snapping. Eibach are the daddies and have been established for quite a while now.
