Apex Springs to H&R Coilovers (Pics)

  TrackCar & F30 330d
I fitted H&R Coilovers the other weekend, here are some pics of before and after i had them.
Cant really see that much of a difference in height from the Apex springs to the coilovers, but the ride seems a lot smoother and it handles much much better. Just need the geometry done and it should handle much better :)

Looks nice mate, wish i would have known about the meet yesterday we could have compared. Just had my konigsports fitted (not as flash as your h&r's but well you know lol) :)

Flol, imo sportlines are overrated. At least apex will lower the car, which most will fit them for.

Would agree in that standard is better than either though.

Apex lower the car cheap and cheerful but f**k your dampers big time.

Worse springs I ever had the pleasure of running.

I preferred pro's and sport's to standard. Apex were torture. Poorly riding and handling.

that has actually come in quite useful, was trying to decide between apex 40mm springs and eibach sportlines for my 1.2, thanks mate lol.

Btw the coilovers look great, should look even better once settled:cool:

Thanks for then nice coments.
Only bad part about having the new ride height was that i scratched my splitter quite badly when in a garage :(

IMO the Apex looked good but the ride was sooooooooo hard, and when it was on the track it was bouncing around when turning, if you know what i mean. Basicaly not smooth at all. And i went in my mates Williams which was on H&R coilies and turn-in was 10 times better.
So it had to be done, i bought the H&R's of Rob on here who now has AST's
Bargin :)

(Rob.H) Yes it's a DB7 GT, Its my old man's. I now know why he didnt want me to spend all the money on coilies, its becauses my car in now lower than his lol :)
Wander if you can get coilies for an aston lol hmmmm

(D4N13L) Yeah it's a shame not more people came, still a good turn out for this time of year i hear.
Maybe we'l have to do a mini meet and take some pictures some where.

Exactly, the springs are too stiff for the dampers, so it pogo's everywhere.
