Apex susp kits -40mm - reviews?

  Cooper S JCW
Has anyone used the Apex suspension kits - springs/dampers - on their 172 (or 182) to give the 40mm drop? if so how do you like it

Thanks for your help

Ive got them on my 172 mk1, fking brilliant imo, handles really well, next to no roll in the corners and looks spot on too!
heres proof of the roll:

Best springs? I personally think not. I think they make the ride harsh for daily driving. Personally prefer something prgressive like Eibach prolines/sportline, or the Koni springs are apparently good.

I've got them on my 172 and they are fairly harsh, so am changing them for some eibach sportline which are sat in the garage waiting to be fitted...

They may be harsh but when you drive the girls version like myself, you need something to make the car a little more masculine.

Overall, they are a good spring and cracking VFM if, as said slightly harsh but the turn in is well worth it.

Got them on mine and I am very pleased with the ride and height .. :) just a shame my exhaust now bangs on my axel because of the drop

Apex -40mm springs all round on my 182. Fantastic handling & good value for money. Downside, the front wheels scrape on full lock, but that's because I have 17's on. Avoid potholes though if you go this route.
