Apexi / PowerFlow

Has anyone had, or got an Apexi AVC-R boost controller, how do you rate them? How easy are they to fit? Wheres the cheapest place to get them?

Heard a lot about PowerFlow exhausts, one thing being that they lose power? Anyone had this experience?

Ive just had a full Powerflow zorst fitted to my 172 (with decat) .. doesnt feel like its lost any power. Id need to get it on the rollers to say though. It does feel a bit nippier in 1st and it seems to have sorted out the dead spots in between high rev gear changes.

I had a powerflow and I got it replace on friday. The powerflow was the worst thing I have seen or heard on any car ever!

Since Ive had my custom exhaust fitter the cars feels more torquey low down and pulls harder top end.

IMO dont ever consider powerflow. Every dealer I consulted before getting a new one slated powerflow!

Ive got a powerflow exhaust on my valver, its a cat-back system, and im very happy with it. I was a bit sceptical about getting one ( i mainly did because it was a 10min drive to powerflow, or 2hr to predator), but the workmanship is excellent, and the sound is also good (not too loud, but has presence). I have noticed no drop in power, and no noticeable improvements either. You can specify whatever you want to them and theyll do it. Also get a lifetime warranty. There have been a few dissapointing powerflow efforts that ive seen, but im happy with mine.....hope that helps a bit..
