Applecare for Mac Mini

Hi all

I want to purchase extended cover for my Mac Mini but I've noticed eBay have a fair few for cheaper than the Apple Store (even with student discount).

Has anyone purchased Applecare from eBay before?

I wouldn't. I've heard nothing but horror stories about it. Many of them are scams (stolen credit cards) and you won't find out until you go to use the apple care and they inform you that the policy is void because it was purchased with a stolen card.

If you can get the student price for the sake of a few quid I would rather buy it direct.

If you go into your local store might find that the discount to students is even larger. In store is usually cheaper.

It is only around £40 as a student anyway.
