Applying handbrake on incline/decline, clio 200?? Creaking?

I noticed when i apply my handbrake, for example on my driveway which is at a decline, the rear beam or whatever it is creaks??

Is this normal? For example once the handbrake is applied and you get out the car, as the car rises there is a creak noise? This only happens when the handbrake is applied?
