+1 on the eibachs, getting them in 2 weeks or so (sportlines)

Coils are not necessary. The height that Sportlines give is sufficient and the ride is considerably better than coils for day-to-day usage!

How much of a drop can I get with the sportlines? When I ask for them to be fitted do I just go along and say 'can you drop the car 35mm for me please?'

No, you ask them to fit them. They are just springs on OEM dampers.

Hmm bit confused then, why do people say they get different mm lowering reading then?

Pro's lower about 15-20mm (Ish)
Sportlines lower more 30-35mm (ish)

Eibachs don't really settle. I.e after the first journey, they won't get much lower.

Coils, you can set to what ever you want. 15mm up to 50mm+
