Are 172 PH1 the same MPG as a PH2?

My phase 2 172 has about the same mpg as my previous car had.

A 182.

31-32 mpg combined normal driving.

....ie. not ragging it around the streets like a t**t.

PH1's should be ever so slighly better. They're about 80kg's lighter.

38 mpg average is Renault official book figures

I can get far better than this when hitting the main roads on a modded engine. Last run i was seeing 50 mpg on a ''long settled'' re-set gauge sitting at 50 - 60 mph.

Car never drops below mid 30's although my driving is A and B roads no city traffic, with drop down 3rd and 4th gear overtakes
