Are dCi's really this good on fuel??

My dci 100 is also great on fuel. And is slowly becoming a full blown trophy rep too.

Mike from MWM's Dci 65 is epic, does 70 odd to the gallon, and its genuinely nippy now too since he added an intercooler, hybrid turbo and remapped it with a lot more boost.

Its a quite amazing blend of performance and economy really, dead at the top of the rev range of course, but if both were allowed to rev only upto about 4K it would easily beat a 172.

After refuribshing my injectors, I am at 71mpg currently

One more week and I start producing diesel in my dci

mines doing what it should do for now, so im happy .

shame its getting replaced with a VW. ahwell, will rip the engine out it again and shoehorn some other diesel engine in

ragging it to death yeasterday only dropped the MPG to around 60mpg
