caister Car PH1 172 Sport Aug 26, 2009 #1 As above. I noticed last night that the outside grip on the front tyres is facing the opposite way to that on the rears. I can't see anything obvious on there indicating the tyre direction. Does anyone know if theres a certain way round they should face?

caister Car PH1 172 Sport Aug 26, 2009 #6 Yeah but you can still have them rotating the wrong way round For example the outside tread on my fronts is curving forward and on the rear its curving backwards Last edited: Aug 26, 2009

MarkCup ClioSport Club Member Car It's a hatchback Aug 26, 2009 #8 They're not directional/rotational. They have an outer edge, and an inside edge. So long as it says 'outside' on the outside it's all good, regardless of what direction the tread goes at the edges.
