Renault will build all-new vehicle in Russia
Renault is investing €230 million to facilitate production of the all-new X90 at Avtoframos in Moscow, starting in 2005. The X90 will be an all-new vehicle that will utilise the Renault-Nissan B platform. Renault says that the X90 will be a spacious family saloon designed for reliability and simplicity for use in countries where infrastructures vary and climate conditions can be severe. The Russian plant will open a few months after the new car goes into production at the Dacia plant at Pitesti in Romania. Output at Avtoframos will be 60,000 pa. When the X90 goes into production, output of the Clio in Russia will cease
No wonder they have problems!
