Are the gearbox's in the 172 prone to vibrating?

Wondering if its normal for the 172 gear stick to vibrate a bit when driving? Its not an issue as such but i just was wondering. only notice it when my hand is on it

Not sure if it's normal but mine has done it for the 40,000 miles I've owned the car. Not caused any issues so far.

I was simply putting it down to the fact its a petrol car lol
