Are these the wires I will need to hook up a clio head unit (standard)?

you need the white one, another brown one around the same size as the white one and the black one, the black ones the aerial.

For an aftermarket unit you probs need an aeriel adaptor to go into that aeriel lead, kinda looks like a silver dart available at your local halfords for 3.99. But yeah you don't need the yellow wire, just the white block and the other similar block with the offset pin on one end.

Ive input my code into the stereo and it keeps on bleeping.What is the confirmation noise that is given off once the system has accepted the code?

for a standard head unit you need all, plus some others, yellow iic is the dash display, blue will be steering control the black one is the areal , there will be a brown one too about the same size as the white

for after market you need the black areal the brown and the white, forget the yellow and the blue
