Basically being a tight wad Scot I bought the resistor pack repair kit for 12 quid off e bay and whilst removing the old transistor from the board I have managed to damage the board. A section of the copper ribbon came off with the old component and I tried soldering the new component in and where I had fan running full before it now constantly runs at low speed which aint ideal given the sub zero temperatures.
I have had a look on e bay for another resistor pack but only repairs listed, no one will repair it now I have wrecked it. Any ideas (not including dealer)?
