argh !

Big thick tar spots that when you try and scratch them off leave a brown smear on your paint and dead flies that are baked on,

How do i get rid of them ?! tar remover just doesnt seem to work whats the best product to use ??

I normally polish them out when polishing the car. Some of them take some work but eventually move.

auto glym tar remover if left on for about 2 minutes usually gets it for me, can be a bit of a pain though.

someone once said white spirit to me, but eh - nah your alright

I have never had any tar that the AG won't shift. I removed 60k's worth of tar with it from the wheel arches on the GTi tonight. Needed a few applications on the trouble spots.

Lots of people use clay, try it on dark car and you will see why it is safer to dissolve it with a tar removal product.

Sold bud - took a deposit on Sat. First to view. Lad of here as well :)

GTi needs LOTs of work still, not sure how mint it will ever get as I don't mind scrubbing just a bit reluctant to throw money at it on parts and paint.

id second that, AG has been superb for the 8 years iv been using it, not tried it on meg yet
