Project: Spider: Carbon Interior / R26R Seats
the spider has its turn.
the megane r26r seats come in and they are related in synthetic leather with carbon look.
the door panels and center console are covered with carbon (identical to the seat shell)
so far:

reused parts removed:

the original cover deducted share of the fiber, and brought to the carbon guy:

the r26r seats:

seat cover off:

defines the logos, prepared and brought to embroidery:

the parts came back from the embroidery:

the parts are back from the carbon cover.
they were painted along with the r26r carbon seat shells semigloss clear:

the seats are finally back from the saddler:

the "sabelt" label had also returned to the same place again:

installation and finish (in addition there were new 6-point belts):

Project: Spider: Steering wheel in leather / Instruments in black
and now the steering wheel and the instruments.
it looked so far:

steering wheel off in a second, instruments in 10 minutes:

disassemble:

open the instruments:

pointer away:

cover:

paint matt black:

attach the pointer again:

calibrate, test:

new rings in matt black:

exchange:

before assembling treated with anti-fog agents, because in a spider the instruments are exposed to the weather:

glasses on it:

In housing and ready for Installation:

disassemble steering wheel:

the steering wheel is back from the saddlery.
covered with the same leather of the R26R seats, with a light gray center mark, matching the matte silver from the interior,
the seams identical the seats in a simple black (otherwise rapid soiling, because open vehicle):

electronic module installed:

the "new" instruments also provides for the Installation:

instruments mounted:

and steering wheel snapped again, finished:

Yeah, its a rare Renault sport spider, engine from a Clio williams I believe. They go for a lot of money but never sold very well as was competing against the Elise which is perhaps better looking and performs better.

I would love a standard Spider but not at £20-25k. This has had some really nice work done but the exterior style isn't to my taste.
