Ashley cat back exhaust

ive got a 1.2 16v mk2ph2 and im wanting to get a new exhaust for it, anyone got the ashley comp exhaust? if so, hows it sound etc?

i want an exhaust with a nice sound but not extremely loud.

or is there any better exhausts to get? i also dont really fancy the twin exhausts, was just looking at a single 3" tailpipe.

I used to have the same pipe on a 1.3 micra (i hear your laughs as i type)
It wasnt too noisy until i stuck the K&N on there and then it road. Was the 3" version as well. I had it on for about 9 months and when i took it off it did start to rust ad peel away.

i had the ashley comp racing back box on mine ......f**k me it was very loud :S mrs could hear me coming from a block away , defo a head turner :quiet:

i had a look at buying a micra before the clio

the ashley seems to be the best value for money. i can get the full system for £133. i also had a look at a janspeed but its £200

Yeah i payed £90 delivered. Slightly different from £430 for the SS system for the clio!

im up in scotland so ill not be able to get to most of the places that make exhausts up etc. theres a garage near where i live that sells Rage exhausts (dad told me) but im pretty sure i remember them being chavvy jap look things, so ill probably opt away from them.

i get paid at the end of the week so im debating getting the ashley and some eibach sportlines. but ill have to see, im dying to start modding though.

If your close to Glenrothes you could go to Powerflow and get a price for a custom made system.

i totally forgot about powerflow. im in cupar and go to college in glenrothes so its pretty easy to get there i might have to pop along some time soon then

good systems for gains these imo. My friend has one on his valver and it made a pretty notable difference. His is mild steel, so will rust and fall to bits eventually, but performance was good and it wasn't too loud.

Used to run Ashley systems on the Opel Manta. Good quality system for mild steel and price. Rallydesign are the main supplier I think.

just checked, they dont stock the exhausts for the clio.

so ill probably just get it from POTN. so it works out at 140quid delivered.

was thinking of these today! theve got an ebay shop under "fiesta center" but stock the exhausts for most common cars not sure what they sound like tho either
