AST Coilovers and adjustable top mounts - fitting?

I'm a bit confused about fitting the suspension....

Do the bearings etc go on top of this assembly:

Then this comes through the turret and this top plate holds it in:

Surely something else more substantial holds them in place that just the 3 adjustment allen bolts?

Just rang Curtis, confirmed what I thought!

Can anyone who has these advise me how low I can go? Want to get the height about spot on before i put them on the car, how much thread should be left on the front and the back running it pretty low?

Also, can anyone recommend any damping settings to try out? The rear should be harder than the front right?

Here's a picture of my fronts, you can count the threads. Don't have a pick of the rears. It is very low.

This is as setup by Curtis.

Just experiment with the dampers. Stiff rear soft front = over steer, stiff front and soft rear = under steer AFAIK.

I'll be going down there to get them set up once I have had them on for a bit and decided on whether I need stiffer springs or not!!
