At what point..

After an incident where numbers have been exchanged on the agreement that insurance details will be exchanged later is there a fair time of contact?
It was a small scuff bump, I don't take responsibility and on calling the number I get no answer and no Voicemail. I'm annoyed, however I can fix the scuff myself.

I'm bothered that A - she can't read my number and will contact the police claiming I've fobbed her off and B she'll ring a month later and start fannying me about.

Is there a fair time of contact for such things?, do I need to inform the fuzz or shall I just stop being a worrying tart and accept that she'd probably just given me a duff number?

Thanks.

For reference for anyone looking - if you can't contact the person in 24 hours report it the Police, even if you're just covering yourself. Assuming you're honest and it wasn't your fault! ;)
