Peugeot 306 HDi
I was cycling to work this morning, came off a cycle path onto the road where the path ran out and along the side of a loooooong queue of traffic next to a school when suddenly there is a door in front of me and my arm and bike are connecting with it. One severely bruised arm, a mildly damaged bike and a bent door later...
It was a red Clio II Ph I and the driver it seems had told his daughter to get out as traffic stopped-started forward and so she opened her door without looking right in front of me. I only realised it had happened as I came to a stop. He had to use his foot to shut the door, my Tee has a layer of red paint and he has bent metal work, that's how hard I hit it.
Fortunately he was a good bloke and he checked I was OK and everything. Felt so guilty, but then I'm pretty sure it's his daughter's fault and not mine anyway (though she was only about 11 and really upset).
