My friend who owns the Porsche asked me to give his wife's Audi Q3 a wash and polish, they have owned the car form new and it has only had the local hand car wash treatment. Saturday i headed over to Kent to give it a wash and assess the damage of the paint. (i had already had a look when doing John's Porsche)
After chatting to @Scrooge about a one stage polish he said about CarPro Essence should do the trick and get the paint to where it needs to be. I wasn't after 100% correction but bringing the paint back to life was what she wanted.
I bought the CarProP orange and white pads which are bloody great and knew that they would complement the polish. They sure did!!
The Q3 wasn't in a bad state considering she had driven down a few bushes on the passenger side (drives through country lanes when taking the dog out) The car was covered in tar even the wheels, so much that i used half a bottle of CarPro Tar X. It still took a good few hits to get it all off and by the looks of it the tar had been on there for quite sometime. 😞
This was the worse side.

Sorry for the lack of finished pictures, it rained quite a bit while i was trying to get the car dry for polishing so i was in a bit of a rush to get it finished. 😞😞

Car was then rinsed off with the hose pipe, snow foamed with Valet Pro PH neutral, jet washed off, snow foamed again and washed 2BM.
Once washed it was jet washed off, Carpro iron X - Tar X and then clayed with Bilt Hamber.
I used 2 wash mitts, the red mitt washed the lower part of the car and the blue is for the upper parts.

The fall out wasn't to bad and it was clean when i was claying it, just so bloody much tar. I hope the next car isn't as bad.

I got the car dried and just as i finished the rain came down, had to wait a while which is why i started to run out of time. Got it dried again and managed to polish the mirror and the wing before it rained again.
Ready for polishing.

And then the rain came down, great beading though just from a polish.

The side of the car polished, at this point the car had to be moved into the garage so this is the only outside picture i managed to take. Gutted tbh as it was looking great.

Once the car was in the garage i polished the bonnet and the drivers side of the car which was no where near as in bad condition as the passengers side.
