I don't think there is a good one, theres lots of b/s ones where they talk about several thousands of watts out of a standard car battery and that sort of thing.
What is it you want to find out ?

All it is, is that i'm not sure what sound system set up i want to go for in my 172.

In my old car i had 2 type R alpine subs 12inch and an alpine mono amp. But this time round i have more speed to take care of and wanna save some weight.

So this time i want one 12inch sub and amp in the boot that can sound just as good if not better than my old set up.

Tall order isin't it.

Well the sub i'm interested in is the pioneer TS-W3004SPL (1000w real rms)

The amp to go with it is a directed d2400 mono amp

Just need to know if anyone else knows of any other good powerful reliable one 12inch sub and amp combinations

I could make my own recommendations, but I have learnt that it just starts arguments on here.
I have installed systems for people, which on paper would be a non-starter for some people, simply because they don't have hugely over estimated claims and numbers attached to the components, with a price tag to match.

IMO its about the sound, not the numbers, and keeping the system within the capabilities of the cars power supply so you don't have to bump start the car every morning..

So I will pass if you don't mind.

Wanna keep it all new

For the 2 front doors, it looks like my clio can only hold a 5 1/4 inch speaker so i'm gonna put alpine Alpine SPX-137R so sound quality should be all good
