Auto Finesse Citrus Power Review

Hi all, another review from me of the latest product, Auto Finesse Citrus Power.

I've tried a lot of pre-wash products and snowfoams so a few years back I was interested to try Auto Finesse's offering in the form of Citrus Power.

With a detail last week I thought it would be a good opportunity to give it a review.

Sprayed on

This was then left to dwell for 10 - 15 minutes to fully break down dirt

Sprayed off

The process made cleaning the new car a much safer exercise and took the majority of the dirt away from the unprotected car. In my experience, the results are far better on a protected car.

Here's the finished car after Tripple and Tough Coat.

Would I buy it?

Definitely, and I had just bought 5 Litres of it before reviewing!

Positives

Breaks down dirt easily to remove the majority before contact.
Safe on wax and sealants.
Leaves no residue and doesn't dry on.
Versatile for a huge amount of jobs.

Negatives

Bottle heads seem to lose ability to spray after a while if not rinsed through.
Cost, even at trade it's still a very expensive product that I'm sure can be provided in a concentrate or dilutable form.

Conclusion

In summary, I think Citrus Power is the best degreaser and pre-wash product currently on the market when not considering price. I choose to use Citrus Power on every detail I carry out and will continue to, but I do think a concentrate or just a dilutable version would be a great option.

Got to agree, It does start to sting the wallet if used each time I wash a car... If a concentrate was available that'd be good as sometimes CP isn't needed at full strength so I find myself diluting it anyway.

On well protected or not so dirty cars, try it diluted 1:1. Still works very well

This is what I tend to do, I would use the new bottle once, then top back up to the top with water. I didn't notice any performance changes and essentially got a free application.

When I did this I thought it was a bit rubbish compared to anything else like cheaper APC's or snow foam.
