Auto Wipers

How on earth do these things work??

I cant work it out for the life of me.. I may just be being stupid, ive read the user manual and it doesnt seem to be working! :S

But I cant even get the intermittent wipers working right...
On my 1.2 you put it on the first notch to make the wipers go every 5seconds...
On this, you put it on the first notch, itll wipe once, then do nothing!!! Arrghhh!!

You can adjust the sensitivity on the stalk but I find them next to useless.

Tried that, put it on max sensitivity... No change... Lowest sensitivity... No change!

you can clean the sensor and that has helped some people. im sure there was a thread on here about how to take it off and clean it etc.

This works for me! Although you may need to redo it after a few freezing nights as the gel needs replacing. a 10 min job at the most.

i had/have a similar problem with my wipers, although that method in the guide section works the gel is crap.

to cold and it freezes and the wipers dontm work, to hot and it drys and the wipers dont work.

ive spent over a year trying to get mine to work properly with no luck.

so i wouldnt get to excited about that method to be honest.
