Autoglym Vs Maguiars shampoo...

FINALLY after two years, my 1L of AG shampoo has run out.

Do I get another, or do I tray that maguairs stuff?

PS There are two maguairs shampoos, err... what's the difference?

AG Shampoo is not one of there better products, cleans ok and leaves a nice finish, the lack of suds is off putting.

Out of the off the Shelf Meguiars offerings there is the NXT Wash and Gold Glass Wash. The first (NXT) is quite strong and is not that wax friendly, the Gold Glass is a nicer product but works out expensive when you look at the cost of there bulk products which are IMO nicer products.

Shampoo Plus or Hyper Wash would be my choices.

Whilst you're here...

..my leather got soaked in the rain after my off-road incident. I've cleaned it with some Zymol leather cleaner (amber coloured liquid) that I had in my garage.

I got the impression that it wasn't a first class product, plus the smell wasn't partucularly leathery! Can you recommend a 'leather in a bottle' product?

The product you used despite the name is made by Turtle Wax and not the greatest.

If you want something leathery smelling maybe look Gliptone, though I find it more suited to older real leather seats from older cars.

Megs shampoo kicks the s**t out of AG shampoo tbh.

Yup. That's the one.

There's also the 'gold class' one which looks amber. I just want something that'll clean my car without stipping all the wax off! (mind you, I do mix the soap quite strong).
