Is there any way of turning this feature off/on ?

Its so annoying when your beam comes on when its not really dark enough to warrant it

jump in your car, and turn the sidelights on/off/on/off (i dont think you need the ignition on)

you'll hear a beep, indicating you've turned them off....or back on again.

yup, turn ignition on, then turn the end of the light stalk to side lights and off twice and u will hear a beep. That will turn them off, and do the same to turn the feature on, but you will hear 2 beeps

possibly. have a look at the top of your windscreen behind the rear view mirror and see if you can see a black square with a senor in it. if you do, youll more than likely have auto headlights

Turn the ignition to the second notch in from off, then its lights on off on off and it will bleep.

do u get this feature on cup 172s
Unlikely ... you're lucky to get glass in your windows on a Cup, and even that is "lighter weight" ;).

Must admit I turned the auto lights off on my Vee because where its lucky and gets to live in a nice garage it was for ever powering the Xenons on just to turn them off when it emerged into daylight a few moments later etc..
